Brad Borkwood, CPA, CA, CBV - President

As the President of bluepoint Valuations Inc., I take great pride in delivering the best value to you as we strive to realize our Vision.  I appreciate the uncertainty that surrounds you and/or your client’s situation right now, and my job is to help move the process forward.

I am a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), a Chartered Business Valuator and a CFF as well (Certified in Financial Forensics).  I have significant experience in business valuations for all types of reasons, as well as personal injury analysis (both income loss and IRB reports).  I have testified numerous times in both valuation and personal injury matters, and oversee and work on every file that bluepoint is engaged on.

Further to my work at bluepoint, I serve as the Litigation and Advanced Business Valuations Courses Leader for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV). I also serve as the Treasurer for the Ontario Brain Injury Association.

Farhan Fazli - M&A Advisor

I work on the deal advisory side of the business and advise investors on potential acquisition targets, enterprise valuations and pricing analysis. I take a lot of pride in making a difference to the way clients operate their businesses and strive to provide a personalized and exceptional client service. 

I did my MBA in Finance from University of Texas at Arlington, USA and currently in the final stages of Chartered Business Valuation (CBV) designation with CBV Institute. I have 10 years of international transaction advisory experience with public accounting firms and have strong credentials in advising blue chip large cap clients on capital raising, acquisitions and divestitures.

My area of specialization includes deal valuations & modelling and fair value measurement for financial reporting purposes – Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and Goodwill Impairment Testing. 

Chris Ohloff - Associate

As an Associate with bluepoint Valuations, Inc., my responsibility is to accurately prepare reports in order to best assess Economic Loss due to MVA (Motor Vehicle Accidents).

I graduated from Niagara College of Applied Technology with an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting in 2015, and am currently enrolled in the CPA Program of Professional Study at the PEP level.

Prior to working at bluepoint, I worked for a small boutique Tax and Accounting Firm, where my duties included preparation of monthly statements, government remittances, payroll, general bookkeeping and advising clients on some of the financial impact during the decision making process. Additionally, I would work closely with local accounting firms during the assembly and preparation of Corporate Year End.

In addition to that, I have several years experience in Investigations and hold an active Ontario Private Investigator’s license

Shpati Begaj - Associate

As an associate at bluepoint, my focus is to assist clients who have been in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) by properly completing Income Replacement Benefit Reports (IRB).

I graduated from Ryerson University in 2011 with a BA in International Relations and Minor in Economics.

Before joining bluepoint, I worked in boutique tax and accounting firm where my responsibilities included assisting in the preparation of various financial statements, bookkeeping duties, and handling various client enquiries.

Kayla Cox - Research and Marketing Specialist

As the Research and Marketing Specialist of bluepoint Valuations, I assist by leading marketing initiatives and preparing industry research for reports. I also help make sure our reports contain strong visuals to help better demonstrate information and make them more comprehensive.

I graduated from Niagara College in 2016 with a Diploma in Business – Sales & Marketing and previously attended Sheridan for their Media Fundamentals Program.

Danielle Ramsay - Admin

As the Administrator with bluepoint Valuations Inc., I provide clerical duties and accounting support. I assist my colleagues in making sure everything runs smoothly through-out our office as well by inputting data and maintaining accuracy through out our Invoices, Reports, Memorandums and many other documents.
